How it connects

Nothing to open: It runs on SVG Lab's servers. There is no tab to keep open and no pairing code.

What is the SVG Lab MCP?

A remote Model Context Protocol server. It lets AI apps use SVG Lab's Design Engine as a set of tools. The server address is https://svglab.app/mcp and it uses OAuth sign-in.

Do I need to keep SVG Lab open?

No. It runs on our servers, so nothing needs to be open on your side.

Is there still an editor?

Yes. SVG Lab is also a free online SVG editor. It is where the work lands and where you can adjust it yourself.

How do I try it?

Open svglab.app, create an account and follow the setup guide to connect your AI. Every account can try the MCP before choosing a plan. Current plans are listed at svglab.app.
